We are currently traveling to see family, but since it's the first day of fall, I thought it would be a great time to remind everyone about the Teal Pumpkin Project.

The Teal Pumpkin Project is an effort to include kids with food allergies in Halloween festivities.  Many parents don't realize that some allergies are so severe that kids can't even eat anything that has come into contact with an allergen.  This is the case for our son.  Anything that may have touched a nut or something containing nuts can't be ingested by our son, or he will have a severe, scary reaction.

Please check out my Teal Pumpkin Project post here to learn more about the project and how you can get involved.  Thanks for considering helping kids like mine feel included on Halloween!

  1. Love this project. We found little containers of playdough this year to give out for Halloween, planning to avoid candy altogether!
